Feb 14: Fabric Lovers’ Fabric Swap

Search out your unwanted fabrics from attic to cellar and get ready to barter and bargain! Rent a table for $10.00 and display all your “oldies but goodies” then swap and sell to your heart’s content. This special event will clear out your stash and scraps and make room for NEW FABRIC! Any left over fabrics can be graciously donated on site to the County Quilters Quilt Guild to make charity quilts. Refreshments will be served by Sewing with Class. Bring a friend and enjoy the fun! Time: 9:30 am – 5:00 pm.

Beginner Quilting - Esther (1)

This is the perfect class for those who have never quilted before, and for those who would like pointers to improve their skills and become more confident quilters. Learn the basics of quilting as you construct a small quilt suitable for a tabletopper, a baby quilt or a wallhanging.

Starting with fabric selection (in the store) during the first class, you will learn about color and design. Following classes will cover step by step instructions on rotary cutting, piecing, quilt construction, borders, sandwiching, machine quilting and finally binding.

Pattern is provided.

*Some homework is required.*
